Kind of Blue is an album that towers above its peers, a record generally considered the definitive jazz album, a universally acknowledged standard of excellence. "Mono Version" はLPレコードから復刻したものと思われる。※それが証拠にスクラッチノイズが散見される。モノラル音源で聴くとステレオ音源時のようなリヴァーヴを効かした"寂寥感"が後退、ペットとサックス以外はモコモコと篭ったような音ではあるが各種楽器が一団となって、聴き手である俺の脳髄を不気味に直撃する。
