Thomas」「Walk On By / Dionne Warwick」「I Say A Little Prayer /Aretha Franklin」を人気ヴァージョンでしっかり収録(意外とこの3つが揃わないのです)「(They Long to Be) Close to You 」はカーペンターズではないもののオリジナルのRichard Chamberlainの味あるヴァ―ジョンで。意外に漏れる81年の大ヒット「Arthur's Theme (Best You Can Do)/Christopher Cross」もフォロー。バカラックならではのマジカルでエレガントな作曲とアレンジ、名歌手達のパフォーマンスに酔いしれてください! バカラックのヴォーカルカバー集は、A&M盤を持っていましたが、恋よさようならが無く、恋の面影もスプリングフィールドが収録されていなかったし、レーベルの問題かバカラックの申し子ワーウィックのカバーが1曲もなかったのでかなり不満でした。前述の不足を補うCDを捜してこのアルバムになりました。価格も少し安くなっていて良かったです。
