作曲家&チェロ奏者のグレッグソンがバッハの曲をリコンポーズしたニュー・アルバム

ピーター・グレッグソンは英スコットランド、エディンバラ出身の作曲家でチェロ奏者。現在ではルパート・グレッグソン=ウィリアムズ、マックス・リヒターといった映画音楽作曲家との共作が多数ある他、エド・シーランのヒット・アルバム『÷(ディバイド)』にも参加するなど活躍の場を広げています。今回のアルバムではバッハの6つの組曲が5人のチェロ・アンサンブルと、グレッグソンのチェロとシンセサイザーでリコンポーズされています。グレッグソン自身、この曲とは馴染みが深く、子供の頃から演奏していたと語っています。2枚組。
