大人気曲「Linus and Lucy」や、物憂げで叙情的な「かぼちゃ大王のワルツ」など、ポップカルチャーを代表する曲が収録！1966年10月4日、カリフォルニア州ハリウッドにあるデシル社のガワー・ストリート・スタジオで、ガラルディ（ピアノ）と、彼の長年の友人でありトリオのサイドマンでもあるベーシストのモンティ・バドウィグ、ドラマーのコリン・ベイリーに、エマニュエル・クライン（トランペット）、ジョン・グレイ（ギター）、ロナルド・ラング（木管楽器）を加えて録音、ビング・クロスビーの音楽監督として30年間活躍したことで知られ、親友でもある作曲家、編曲家、指揮者のジョン・スコット・トロッターが、スコアリングの全工程を監修した名サウンドトラック。 グラミー賞を受賞した作曲家/演奏家であるヴィンス・ガラルディの楽曲を収録したこの限定アルバムには、Peanutsの歴史家であり『Vince Guaraldi at the Piano』の著者であるデリック・バング氏による洞察に満ちたライナーノーツを掲載。
