第3回 キング・クリムゾン40周年記念エディション
2009年末に発売され好評を博した、キング・クリムゾンのデビュー40周年を記念した豪華エディション・シリーズの第３弾！今回は、歴史的名盤『クリムゾン・キングの宮殿』に続いて1970年に発表されたセカンド・アルバム『ポセイドンのめざめ』と、翌年に発表された4作目『アイランズ』が、DVD-オーディオとHQCD仕様にて堂々の復刻!!

DVDオーディオ・ディスクには、ロバート・フリップ＆スティーヴン・ウイルソン（ポーキュパイン・ツリー）による2010年度版5.1.chサラウンド・ミックス(MLP Lossless 5.1 Surround/DTS 5.1 Digital Surround)、2010年度版新ステレオ・ミックス、30周年記念エディション・ステレオ・ミックス（現行マスター）ボーナストラックを収録。またCDのほうは今回も日本盤のみHQCD仕様。アートワークは先に発売した『宮殿』、『レッド』、『リザード』同様、HQCD、DVDオーディオを別々の紙ジャケットに収納したダブル・紙ジャケット仕様。英国初回仕様ジャケットとワーナー・パイオニア版国内初発売時のA式見開きジャケットを再現。『宮殿』、『リザード』同様、レアなロック・エイジ花帯付き。HQCD:Original album - 2010度版ステレオ・ミックス
