ラッパーのDMXが逝去、享年50歳。俳優としても活躍

ラッパーであり、俳優としても知られるDMXが、4月9日（現地時間）に亡くなったことがわかった。享年50歳。DMXは4月2日にニューヨークの自宅で心臓発作を起こして重体となり、病院に搬送されていた。

DMXは1970年生まれ。1990年代初頭からラッパーとして活動を開始し、1998年にデビュー・アルバム『It's Dark And Hell Is Hot』をリリース。同作は全米初登場1位を記録し、2003年の『Grand Champ』まで5作連続初登場1位に輝いた。また俳優としても活躍し、『ロミオ・マスト・ダイ』、『ブラック・ダイヤモンド』ではジェット・リー、『DENGEKI 電撃』ではスティーヴン・セガールとも共演した。

訃報を受け、映画で共演したジェット・リーなど多くの著名人からコメントが寄せられている。
