ブロンディの輝かしいキャリアの最初の8年間をフィーチャーした作品で、1976年から1982年までの間にリリースしたスタジオ・アルバム6タイトル（『Blondie』、『Plastic Letters』、『Parallel Lines』、『Eat to the Beat』、『Autoamerican』、『The Hunter』）は英Abbey Road Studiosにてオリジナル・アナログ・マスターから本企画の為に新たにリマスタリングされ、更にはアウト・テイク素材からのベスト・セレクションや、レア音源等の貴重な素材を集めたボーナスディスク2枚を合わせたCD8枚組。全124曲中、36曲が未発表音源。さらにオリジナル・メンバーによる楽曲解説、未発表写真、120ページの写真付きディスコグラフィー付。

またCD3枚組版、11枚組アナログ盤に7インチレコード付属したスーパーデラックス・エディション版、4枚組アナログ版も発売される。
